Whether you are looking for gift ideas to add to your list or gift ideas for friends or family our 2016 Holiday Gift Guide for Traveler and Tea Lovers will have you covered.
Based on our experience on the road and Max’s excellent research skills, we’ve compiled this year’s list of the best gifts for travels. Happy shopping!
1. Hydro Flask
If there is one item that you REALLY need to get from this gift guide, it’s a Hydro Flask bottle. Forget your everyday drinking bottle, Hydro Flask is the best water bottle on the market and we think every traveler should have one. We’ve had our Hydro Flask bottles for just over a year now and we are obsessed… for 3 very good reasons:
- It’s BPA-Free
- It’s double wall vacuum insulated, so it keeps liquids hot for up to 6 hours (perfect for keeping tea hot), and cold for up to 24 hours. We are talking cold.. like ice cubes cold on a hot day in the sun.
- It floats in the water, so it’s a perfect for pool hangouts, ocean hangouts, boat parties, tec.
Plus it comes in a variety of colours (14 to be exact) and sizes (ranging from 18oz to 60oz) , so you can personalize it to your own taste!
2. Osprey Backpack
A good travel pack is an investment worth making and Osprey makes some of the best packs on the market. Depending on your travel style, we recommend the following packs:

4. Hydration Bladder
While we love our Hydro Flasks they don’t come with us on long hikes or city tours. Instead, we chose to stay hydrated with Hydration Bladders that we keep inserted in our Gregory Backpack. This bladder is BPA – free and FDA approved, it’s easy to refill, easy to clean, and is ideal for staying hydrated on the trail or during a long day exploring a city.

In case you haven’t heard, packing cubes are AMAZING. We used to roll our clothes and chuck them in our backpacks, thinking that we had this packing thing sorted, btu when last Christmas a set of packing cubes ended up under our tree our backpack organization improved tremendously. Keep your tops separate from your bottoms, unpack and repack easy, and keep all your clothes and accessories organized in and out of your bag.
